Who are we?
History of BAPI
Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) is the apex body representing the pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh. Since its inception in 1972, BAPI has been playing a key role in developing the pharma sector in the country to promote access to affordable drugs. Closely working with the industry and regulatory authorities, the association promotes understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP), and rightful implementation to ensure quality of the medicines.

45th Annual General Meeting 2016: Pharma sector to cash in on patent exemption
The Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) aims to make the country's pharmaceutical industry a multi-billion dollar sector. This was discussed at the 45th annual general meeting of BAPI at a city hotel yesterday. Following the meeting, a program was held at the same venue to discuss “Vision 2033” for the pharmaceutical industry.
